Despite the rain, it was a pretty sweet Monday. After months of swooning over her beautiful designs, I met Maggie Austin for a cake tasting. I was instantly in love with the presentation of Maggie's tasting. So clean, pretty and dainty. Oh, and the vintage cloth napkins had me too! My two (I couldn't pick just one) favorites were the lemon + Spanish olive oil pound cake (not a smidge of butter is used in this cake) with apricot ves + fiori di scilla buttercream and the double chocolate espresso cake with seville orange + la belle orange buttercream. Heaven! I hope you'll be able to sample these gorgeous delights, too.
