Last Thursday I hosted an event, along with fellow planners and dear friends Pam and Laura, at Josephine. We joined forces to throw our second annual "goodbye to summer" cocktail party honoring DC's premiere event professionals. The DC event industry is filled with so many wonderful and talented people. What a great city it is for planning a wedding! For those of you who have never been to Josephine, it's a must! The decor is completely fabulous (think French chic) so we really played up on the look and feel of the lounge. It was a great night and so much fun to catch up with some of our favorite industry friends!

fabulous weekend!

I'm super excited for Ali and Rob's wedding at Dahlgren Chapel and the National Museum of Women in the Arts tomorrow. Fingers crossed that it doesn't rain! Stay tuned for photos. Have a fabulous weekend!

I am loving the soft peach and aqua palette used in this inspiration board. It's so feminine, so sweet... so chic! The layers on the brides gown are fabulous and the aqua dress- I can't imagine a bridesmaid who wouldn't love to wear that!
