We've been anxiously awaiting the release of Anthropologie's bridal collection, BHLDN. The line is scheduled to launch on Valentine's Day and will feature wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, accessories + gifts. From the tiny glimpses that we've seen, it's pure gorgeousness. Soft, feminine and ethereal. Just what we expect from our beloved Anthro. Something to dream about on these cold, wintry days.

I was so excited to receive the newest issue of Washingtonian Bride & Groom yesterday! This magazine is always loaded with eye candy and fabulous real weddings so I couldn't wait to dig into it. I'm loving the Green Day spread which boasts beautiful inspiration for eco-friendly flowers. The bouquets are ah-mazing! Bride & Groom is a great resource for DC brides (and grooms!) and we couldn't be more flattered to be included in the guide of DC's top wedding vendors. Hitched Maids

We're so excited for our friends at Hitched! They've just announced that Hitched is hatching Hitched Maids; a fresh, fun, bridesmaid dress shop nestled above their bridal boutique in Georgetown. Opening this Tuesday, Hitched Maids will provide brides and their besties with a warm and inviting space to ogle over fabulous frocks from some of our favorite bridesmaid dress designers- Amsale, Anna Elyse, Jenny Yoo, Lela Rose, Simple Silhouettes and Thread. The styles range from classically sophisticated to modern and trendy. To celebrate their grand opening, Hitched Maids will be offering 10% off any bridesmaid dress purchased in the month of June! It's time for a little spring cleaning! One of my brides told me about a great effort that the wonderful ladies of Hitched are making. The 5th Annual Hitched Dress Drive benefiting Princess for a Night begins today. Stop by Hitched to donate your gently worn bridesmaid dresses, which will go to students in the community. Your once worn bridesmaid dress could be someone's prom dress! My closet isn't quite as full as Katherine Heigl's in 27 Dresses (phew!) but I definitely have a few that I would love to pass along.

If you're looking for a fresh and unique space with a city-chic feel, look no further! I attended an event, hosted by my fabulous friend Heidi with Room Service, on Tuesday night at Longview Gallery. Longview is an art gallery with raw event space... a completely blank canvas! The wheels in my head have been turning since the moment I walked in. Exposed concrete, brick walls, open space and an outdoor patio! What could be better?!
